Just a quick note to welcome you all to Dance Team World… a place for dancers, dance teams, coaches, directors, choreographers, dance educators, and dance parents. This vlog didn’t used to be a vlog at all. It all started as the dance team community’s first VIRTUAL national dance competition (I produced it during the Covid-19 pandemic). When that event when viral during such challenging times. I produced a 7-day livestream of videos submitted by high school dance teams from across the United States. It was over 400 routines submitted, can you believe it?!

Anyway, since then I’ve been trying to figure out my next step. Hence the birth of the Dance Team World vlog on Instagram, Youtube, and TikTok! The purpose of this vlog is to help the dance team community learn from each other. There are so many great things happening in the dance team community across the United States. As a result, I’ve dedicated myself to traveling all over the place to show you parts of the dance team world that you may not know exist. Because the very idea of “dance team” sure looks different from state-to-state.

I’m also trying to share the best things about this community so that we can all learn from best practices. Some states have a supportive dance team community while others are struggling. There is a whole lot to learn and enjoy from the coming updates. This page will be updated with vlog transcripts as they are posted to our social media accounts, in addition to other posts that you’ll only be able to find here on this blog page.
